Dividend Day, Rolls Royce Joins the List

Today marked a little milestone, I received my first ever dividend from Rolls Royce in my Freetrade account, totalling £2.52. It’s always a nice feeling when a new stock starts paying you back.

Alongside that, I also picked up £0.55 from McDonald’s and £2.27 from STAG Industrial, both in Trading 212. As a little bonus, I received £0.07 in share lending interest over the weekend — every little helps!

In Freetrade, I left the dividend untouched for now since the balance isn’t that high yet. Over on Trading 212, I reinvested the total into a fractional share of VICI Properties — picking up 0.13 of a share. Slowly but surely, those dividends are starting to build up and get put back to work.
