Matched Betting – Getting Back Into It for Extra Income

I wanted to share a little update on how I’ve been making extra money recently. Over the weekend, I started matched betting again, and here are some examples of the winnings I’ve made so far since setting it back up.

I’ve actually done matched betting before, a few years ago, and managed to make around £2,500 in tax-free profits. Eventually, I stopped because I ran out of bookmakers to enrol with, having been gubbed from some of the popular ones at the time.

However, recent events mean I need to generate more funds to invest, so I’ve decided to give it another go. My plan this time is to make enough profit this month to cover the annual matched betting subscription fee. Then, over time, I’ll withdraw my original deposit of £500, leaving only “house money” in my accounts that I can keep building upon risk-free.

Once I’ve grown this balance enough, I plan to start drawing down the profits to fund my stock purchases and trading accounts. For the time being, I’ll be slowing down my trading activities to focus on matched betting. I feel confident this is the quickest route to build up a pot of capital again.

It’s good to get back into it, and I’m looking forward to seeing how much I can generate over the next few weeks.
