Stock of the day + New Buy

New Buy: Wise (LSE: WISE)

Just added Wise to the portfolio and picked up 8 shares at £11.48 each. Wise is a money transfer and payment platform making it cheaper and faster to send money internationally, and I like their long-term potential as more people and businesses go global.

The stock recently hit a high of £12.19 today before pulling back slightly after trading limits were hit, and that dip gave me a decent entry point. I’ve had my eye on it for a while, and this small correction seemed like a good time to get in.

It’s not a huge position, but I’m comfortable averaging in if it pulls back more, Wise has a solid business model, strong user growth, and a clear path to profitability. As always, this isn’t advice, just documenting what I’m doing with my own money. Let’s see how it plays out.
