Today’s Investing and Dividend Update

Today I received a few dividends from the ETFs I hold:
In Freetrade:
£0.68 from VUSA
£1.70 from VFEM
£1.29 from VHYL
I’ve left these dividends uninvested for now, as there isn’t enough in the account to make a purchase yet.
In Trading 212:
£1.93 from VUKE
I used this to buy a fractional share in the City of London Investment Trust.
Aside from dividends, I also put some of my own funds to work:
Added £50 to my emergency fund
Topped up my new SIPP with £50, which will also earn £12.50 in tax relief over the next few weeks
Deposited £100 into my eToro account
With the eToro funds, I opened two new positions in stocks I’ve been watching for a while:
9 shares in Grab, an Asian competitor to Uber
0.17 shares in S&P Global
Both of these companies have strong buy ratings and give me different types of market exposure.
I don’t usually just pull money out of my account and invest spontaneously, but today was one of those days that felt like it was dragging on forever at work. I thought: Why not do something that brings me closer to financial freedom?
