Today’s Trading Recap (12/06/2025) NASDAQ Scalps & Missed Gold Moves

Most of today’s trading focused on scalping the NASDAQ 100 futures — quick in-and-out moves that helped keep the balance ticking upwards. I also placed a buy trade on AUD/USD, but that one didn’t go to plan and moved against me. Luckily, the NASDAQ scalps were solid enough to finish the day in profit overall.

One missed opportunity though. Gold. I watched it drop from $3360 to $3340 early in the morning, looked like a perfect bounce setup. I set a buy limit, but ended up cancelling it. Within a few hours, it had rallied past $3370. That one stung a little, but I’ll take missing a good trade over getting stuck in a bad one any day.

Small wins today and lessons today, keeping things moving forward, and i cleared £1.24 in profit.
